Jobs and co. revealed the new and improved Apple iPhone this past monday, surprisingly enough calling it the Apple iPhone 4. To be sure, the iPhone 4 is an impressive beast of a phone with what will be undeniably the sharpest screen on the market and a few other goodies including voice chat. That’s all well and good, but the iPhone’s software (at least according to many mobile phone pundits out there) is still no match for the Android platform that has boasted the ability to multitask since the beginning and also has abilities that iPhone owners can only dream of, most notably widgets. That said, specs are important, and we’ve come across a couple great comparisons of some of the most high-end Android phones vs. the Apple iPhone 4. Enjoy and let us know which you’ll pick.

Great post from TechTremor.com about the HTC Evo living up to its hype.Click through below to read it in all its glory:
“With all the talk of Sprint’s HTC Evo, I sat down and contemplated why I am so excited to have this phone. Right off the bat I ruled out the perk of being an Android user, as I already have that checked off the list. My HTC Hero is Android through and through, so not the highlight for me. Okay, so not the touchscreen either (been there, done that)…there had to be something else, right?!
And, oh yes, there is…more than one something in fact. As much as I love my Hero, it comes down to the fact that we all want the newest and best, myself included. That is what the Evo is…the best and newest HTC has to offer. So, here are five reasons I am prepared to fall in love with Evo:”

Sprint’s ace this cell phone season is the HTC Evo. As Sprint continues to trail the other 3 major carriers, its placing its bets on the HTC Evo 4G reviving the its subscriber base.
No doubt from the specs, the phone is going to be amazing, but will the “4G” hype be enough to convince customers to jump ship from other carriers.
An in-depth look at some of the comparisons of other Android phones says the Evo may not be enough to move market share.

Somebody’s in deep trouble. In the mother of all leaks, 7, count it, 7 product images/specs and collateral documents were leaked and published by the gang at Engdadget.
eWeek has a great wrap-up of Engdaget’s leak novella.
The juiciest leak has to be the Android table, Looking Glass, which confirms that the iPad will have its share of competitors quite soon.
Others include 2 Android phones and Windows 7 phone. No launch dates yet on any of these.

It was a mere rumor for a little while, but Verizon has officially announced the new HTC Droid Incredible will be “replacing” the DROID Eris in the Verizon Wireless Android phone line-up.
The HTC Droid Incredible is scheduled to launch on April 29.
Now, Verizon users will have to decide between the DROID Incredible and regular DROID.
Not an easy choice.
