Gone Fishing

Inspired by Brad’s trip to Vegas with his dad, I left a message with my dad the other day to see if he had some time to hang out with me for a weekend. I get along great with my dad and I constantly consult him for advice, but I don’t think we’ve spent a solid chunk of one on one time together in over 10 years.
Dad must have been pretty psyched cuz he called me later in the day with a solid list of ideas and dates… fortunately an idea on his list matched with mine!
One of my fondest memories as a kid was spending a few weeks each summer with my dad and best friend Brian camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, dodging moose and bear, and mucking around in the remote areas of Baxter State Park in the northern part of Maine.
My dad and I are going to spend a weekend doing the same somewhere in the Front Range of Colorado this Spring!
