The countdown to full-fledged mobile mania is about to hit full gear with the launch of the HTC Evo on June 4 followed by the iPhone, and some DROID surprises from Verizon Wireless.

Phandroid published theirs within minutes of getting their hands on it at the Google I/O conference.

Sprint’s ace this cell phone season is the HTC Evo. As Sprint continues to trail the other 3 major carriers, its placing its bets on the HTC Evo 4G reviving the its subscriber base.
No doubt from the specs, the phone is going to be amazing, but will the “4G” hype be enough to convince customers to jump ship from other carriers.
